The Platt Fields BMX track is open 7 days a week and run by Manchester City Council. Manchester BMX Club run club training and gate practice sessions on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons, for all enquiries about Manchester BMX Club please see our contacts page.

The recent rounds of the National BMX Series at the Platt Fields BMX track were a huge success, with just shy of 500 riders competing each day and good weather throughout the weekend.

Manchester won the best National award in 2009 and this year the standard of events has really gone up, so the club were keen to show we can live up to expectations.

Thanks to Shiner who distribute Redline in the UK, we have a fantastic Flight Junior to give away at the Manchester rounds of the Nationals!

Manchester riders Jacob Roberts and Valerie Zebrokova are both sponsored by Redline and will be keen to impress their Team Manager Jai Kemp at their home National. 

The Redline Flight range is the top level of bikes offered by the company, with a fantastic frame, they’re race ready right out of the box!

National BMX Series 2010
 
On the weekend of July 3rd & 4th, Manchester BMX Club are hosting rounds 7 & 8 of the National BMX Series. The Premier race series in the UK, the Nationals see the very best riders competing in a 12 round series at 6 venues across the country. 
 
Manchester first hosted the series last year and won the “best national” award at the end of season. We’ve worked hard to ensure that this year we live up to expectations!
 
Schedule:
 
Saturday

Midday – 3pm Initial motos.
 
3.30pm – 5.45pm Semi finals and finals.
 
After the 3 Motos, there will be a short break followed by Semi finals (top 16) in all categories.  After another short break, we will go straight into finals for all categories.
 
Sunday
 
10am – 12.30pm –Initial Motos
 
1.15pm – 3.30pm Semi finals and finals
