CLUB SESSIONS (including Gate Practice):

 

THURSDAY NIGHT SESSIONS 2016 CEASE FOR THE WINTER:
Thursday sessions at Platt Fields will stop (last one on 29th September), the sessions then switch to a Wednesday night and will be held at the Indoor BMX Track at the NCC.

 

MBMX INDOOR SESSIONS AT THE NATIONAL CYCLING CENTRE:

Start on Wednesday 5th October 2016 7pm-9pm:  (£5 per rider – family discount available)

First of all, to come to our Wednesday night sessions you MUST be a club member and have your own equipment.

 

PLATT FIELDS SESSIONS:

Saturday: 3.00pm to 6.00pm: Members £2.00, non Members £4.00.

Equipment: If you have your own bike/helmet/gloves/pads, please use them.  There are a limited number of bikes and safety equipment available for our sessions at Platt Fields, but this will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

 

COACHING:

 

Novice / Beginner Coaching:

Day & Time: Saturday 1-2pm

Aimed at: Riders needing guidance in BMX and who want to learn basic skills.  To join in with this session, riders should be able to ride a bike standing up.

Who can ride: This session is an NCC session open to everyone who is at this level. To book please contact NCC hear: NCC Web Site

Coaches: Manchester BMX Club coaches – Fred Barlow & James Tresman

Equipment: If you have your own bike/helmet/gloves/pads, please use them.  There are a limited number of bikes and safety equipment available, but this will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

To ensure you get the most from the session, please arrive by 12.45pm.

 

Intermediate / Expert Coaching:

Day & Time: Saturday 2-3pm

Includes 1 hour coaching & 3 hours riding until 6pm)

Who can ride:  This session is open to everyone. No need to book just turn up and learn from our experienced friendly coaching team

Coaches: Manchester BMX Club coaches – Fred Barlow & James Tresman

Aimed at: Riders who have progressed from Beginner/Novice and are at Intermediate level.  Riders will be looking to improve their skills and ride at club/regional/national level.

Equipment: If you have your own bike/helmet/gloves/pads, please use them.  There are a limited number of bikes and safety equipment available, but this will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

To ensure you get the most from the session, please arrive by 1.45pm.

 

Intensive Advanced Coaching:

Day & Time: Tuesday 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Price: £5.00 per rider (please try and bring correct money)

Coachs: Rob Hawker, James Tresman & Louise Abbott

Criteria for who can ride:

2016 Manchester BMX Club members who race at Expert level for MBMX Club Regionally or Nationally
