SAFEGUARDING
& WELFARE
Manchester BMX club (MBMX) are a volunteer led organisation and we are dedicated to promoting the safe participation in the sport of BMX racing in our local community and beyond. We encourage good behaviour and sporting respect from all riders, parents/carers and supporters at all times.
MBMX follows and adheres to the guidance laid out by British Cycling on all welfare and safeguarding matters. MBMX is actively engaged in the welfare and safeguarding of all its member families and riders. The Club Welfare Officers are the persons with primary responsibility for receiving, managing and reporting concerns arising about children or adults at risk. It is important to highlight however that safeguarding is the responsibility of all members.
If you have any concerns regarding the wellbeing or safety of any MBMX club member or the conduct or of any riders or parents/carers whilst representing MBMX please make contact in one of the following ways.
Notify the club welfare officer, coach, or a committee member in person at a club session or event
